As we start 2012, it’s always a good time to reflect on the past year. Given this site is all about wooden puzzles, no better time than now to reflect on a few interesting things from 2011. First, we had a number of great Stave puzzles come through our hands. While all of the their puzzles are great, we love the tricks and teasers. They are such a fun spin on the traditional puzzle. If you have not tried one, then it’s worth getting your hands on one, they will give you a run for your money. We also also came across some very nice Par wooden puzzles. There is such a range in the imagery of Par puzzles that it’s always fun to see what the image is that will develop as it is put together. One of our goals this year is to beat the Par Time. We have come close (with 2 people), but so far have a ways to go alone!
