~715 Total Pieces
~26 Silhouettes
~14 3/8″ x 15 1/2″
The image is called “View of the Village” by Jean-Frédéric Bazille (1841-1870). (Interesting fact about him, he died at 28 after joining a French regiment in the Franco-Prussian war.) A nice image, with an almost haunting look on the woman’s face. The puzzle is a good challenge, but won’t drive you crazy trying to solve.
In fair condition. 1 replacement piece. There are about 8 knobs with chips in them. Also some other pieces where bits of the paper layer has rubbed off (see pics). Box has some wear as well, but structurally in good shape.
